Virentis Advisors II, LLC has developed a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to address how we will respond to events that disrupt our business. Such disruptions include power outages, natural disasters, and acts of terrorism. The actions detailed in the BCP vary in scope and are directly related to the magnitude of the disruption in question. For example, in the event of a telephone outage, Virentis communications will be rerouted to an office of Michael Land. Another example is if the offices or building housing our offices be compromised, remote business locations will be established. The Virentis BCP addresses the following: alternative location of operations; data back-up and recovery; financial and operation assessments; mission critical systems; alternate communications between clients, employees, and regulators; critical business constituent, bank and counter party impact. Although no plan can eliminate all risk or disruption to our operations, the Virentis BCP will be continually reviewed and updated in order to diminish any reasonable risk. A copy of Virentis’ BCP is available upon request.
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who establishes a formal relationship with the financial institution. This means that if you establish a relationship with Virentis Advisors, you must provide your name, address, date of birth, and other information to us. Documentation, such as a driver’s license, passport, or other government-issued identification will be needed in order to verify your identity. Where business entities enter into a formal relationship with Virentis, they are required to provide us information and documentation to verify the identity and existence of the business.
